Bunker Fuel Trading
Trading and supply of:
VLSFO (Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil): IMO 2020-compliant fuel with <0.5% sulphur content.
HSFO (High Sulphur Fuel Oil): Traditional fuel for vessels with scrubber systems under MARPOL compliance.
MGO (Marine Gas Oil): Cleaner-burning distillate fuel ideal for emission-controlled zones and vessel startups.
Alternative Fuels: We are equipped to support traders and vessel owners transitioning to biofuels, LNG, and other compliant alternatives.

Physical Bunker Supply
We deliver fuel through our own IRS-class Indian-flagged bunker tanker, Sagar Urmika. Built in 2023, It is the largest of its kind in the Gulf of Kutch and one of only four in India. This RSV–Type 4 has a cargo loading capacity of 2,000 KL with advanced equipment and safety features. It is equipped
for both sea-to-port and port-to-vessel deliveries, which gives us a faster turnaround, full operational control, and reliable supply every time.

Port Fuel Coordination
We arrange fuel supply at all major Indian ports, including Kandla, Mundra, Vizag, and Kochi. Our partnerships with PSUs, refineries, terminal operators, and port agents help us secure competitive prices and ensure timely deliveries.

Supply Chain Management
We manage the full process for traders who need on-ground support. This includes managing port clearances, supervising deliveries at berth or anchorage, ensuring compliance with MARPOL and IMO standards, and completing all post-delivery documentation.

Alternative Fuel Consulting
We guide vessel owners and traders in adopting cleaner fuels like LNG and biofuels. Our expert team advises on operational readiness, compliance requirements, and sourcing strategies for low-emission fuel options.

Charting a Greener Course
At ASK Tankers, sustainability is not a statement — it is a direction shaped by how the industry has evolved, and how we have evolved with it.
The marine fuel landscape has undergone significant regulatory transformation over the past decade. From the tightening of ISO fuel standards (including ISO 8217 revisions) to the global sulphur cap under IMO 2020, the shift from high sulphur fuel oil (HSFO) to very low sulphur fuel oil (VLSFO) and cleaner distillates marked a fundamental change in how bunkering operates.
ASK has not observed these transitions from the sidelines. It has adapted through them — aligning supply chains, maintaining fuel quality reliability, and ensuring operational continuity during periods of industry-wide uncertainty. This ability to transition in line with regulatory and market shifts continues to define how ASK approaches the future.
Today, that same mindset is driving the next phase.
Through its upcoming vision initiative, NavOcean, ASK is working toward enabling a greener maritime ecosystem. The focus is on preparing for the adoption of next-generation marine fuels — including methanol, ammonia, and hydrogen — by building the required infrastructure, partnerships, and technical readiness.
As a concrete step in this direction, ASK Tankers has signed an MoU with Deendayal Port Authority to develop India’s first tanker designed to supply green methanol — positioning the company at the forefront of the country’s transition toward alternative marine fuels.
For ASK, sustainability is not a parallel ambition. It is embedded in how the company evolves — by staying aligned with regulation, anticipating fuel transitions, and building capabilities ahead of demand.
